About Us
The Los Angeles Dental Society (LADS) is the leading professional association for dentists practicing in central Los Angeles, serving communities from Bell and Bell Gardens to Beverly Hills, Downtown LA through Watts, and everywhere in between. Our membership spans a richly diverse region that includes Cudahy, City of Commerce, Downey, Hollywood, Koreatown, Leimert Park, Los Feliz, Mid-Wilshire, Silverlake, South Gate, West Hollywood, Huntington Park, and Lynwood.
At LADS, we believe a thriving dental community begins with strong connections, shared knowledge, and unwavering support. That’s why we bring together practitioners at every stage of their careers—students, new graduates, seasoned specialists, and retiring professionals—to collaborate, learn, and advance the standard of care across our region.
Mission Statement
The Los Angeles Dental Society (LADS) is a local component of the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association. We are dedicated to helping our member dentists provide excellent patient care and providing the Los Angeles community with dental resources and information.
What We Do
Continuing Education & Study Clubs: From large-scale conferences to small-group Study Clubs, we curate hands-on training, expert-led workshops, and peer-to-peer case discussions to keep our members at the forefront of dental innovation and best practices.
Advocacy & Regulation: LADS represents your voice at the state and local level – monitoring legislation, engaging with regulatory bodies, and ensuring dentists can practice freely and safely.
Community Engagement: Through free screening events, oral-health workshops, and partnerships with local schools and nonprofits, we bring essential dental care and education to neighborhoods in need.
Networking & Mentorship: Our signature events, whether a relaxed brunch gathering or an exclusive dinner with LADS leadership, are designed to foster mentorship, build relationships, and strengthen the bonds that sustain our profession.
LADS Foundation
The LADS Foundation is our 501(c)(3) charitable arm, "Empowering Smiles, Enriching Futures" throughout Los Angeles County. Through scholarships for USC dental students, grants to community clinics, and in-kind donations of oral-care supplies, the Foundation advances oral health equity and educational opportunity.
Together, LADS and the LADS Foundation unite the expertise of our profession with the spirit of service, ensuring that every smile in Los Angeles has a chance to shine.
